Members have access to 24/7 duty-related legal coverage through Reese Ring & Velto, criminal and civil defense through the PORAC Legal Defense Fund, and injury protection services through GGRM Law Firm. Retired Nevada State peace officers from PERS CAT I agencies are also covered for issues arising from their active service.
Financial Support
NPU offers a Fallen Officer's Fund providing immediate financial assistance to families of members killed in the line of duty, a Hardship Fund for members facing serious financial burdens, and college scholarships for members' children and eligible dependents.
